The 3M™ Scotchshield™ Security Window Film S2400 is a high-performance, optically clear window film designed to enhance glass safety and protect interiors from harmful UV rays. Made from a polyurethane-based material, this film is applied to the inside surface of windows or glass doors, where it helps hold shattered glass together upon impact. This feature reduces the risk of injury from flying glass shards and provides an added layer of security.

Unlike traditional PET-based films, the polyurethane construction of the S2400 film offers superior tear strength and flexibility, allowing it to absorb impacts more effectively. When paired with 3M™ Impact Protection Attachment (IPA) Sealant, the film reinforces glass surfaces, making it more difficult for intruders to break through, which can help delay forced entry and provide valuable response time.

Additionally, this film blocks a significant portion of UV radiation, the leading cause of fading in furniture, flooring, and other interior elements.

• For maximum protection against windstorms, forced entry, explosions, and spontaneous breakage on single-pane tempered glass, installation with 3M™ IPA Sealant is required.
